Overview

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright, Python, and SQL to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test frameworks, ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing.

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.

Proficiency in Python for test automation scripting.

Solid knowledge of SQL for database validation and testing.

Experience with web application testing and REST API testing.

Familiarity with Git version control.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Python.

Build and maintain test automation frameworks for web applications.

Execute functional, regression, and integration tests.

Write and optimize SQL queries to validate backend data and database integrity.

Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure product quality.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Perform API testing and validate backend services.

Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality.

Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage.
