Contentstack is looking for an Engineer II - QA. If you're looking for an opportunity to join an innovative, fun, and fast-paced team where your contributions will have a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you! Here's what you'll be doing:
- Ownership of all assigned tasks.
- Write test cases and scenarios based on the features to test.
- Ability to detect the defects and identify the steps to reproduce them.
- Find and File defects in the defect tracking tool.
- Timely and accurate reporting of project status as required by the Project team.
- Escalate all issues in a timely fashion.
- Perform manual testing & script automation steps on the test cases written.
- Collaborate with people across roles to understand the domain and work towards building the right solution.
- Adopt an open mindset for learning new things and working in new roles.
- Continuously improve by working on and providing feedback.
- Knowledge of Software Development and Testing Life Cycles.
- Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Experience in Manual and Automation testing.
- Hands-on experience working with Selenium.
- Working experience with the Playwright Framework using JavaScript.
- Experience with API automation using Postman and JavaScript scripting.
- Knowledge of and/or willingness to work within Scrum Methodology.
- An individual who thrives in a demanding environment that imposes new challenges frequently.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly and apply them to solving tough problems.
