QA Manual Tester

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, along with a passion for quality and continuous improvement. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure our products meet high standards of reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to identify bugs and ensure product quality.
• Report, track, and document defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Work with development teams to resolve defects and improve software quality.
• Conduct regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of automation test scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test management software (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking systems.
• Hands-on experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with scripting languages and test automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter).
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with API testing and database queries (SQL).
• Exposure to continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹192,914.32 - ₹276,578.96 per year
