About The Role

Face-to-face interview is required- Immediate joiners preferred.

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join our QA team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through manual testing while also bringing in basic knowledge of Java and Selenium to collaborate with the automation team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on product requirements.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, business analysts) to ensure quality at every stage.

Identify, log, and track bugs using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Support automation testing using Java + Selenium (basic scripting, test execution).

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in manual testing.

Strong understanding of STLC, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle.

Experience in testing web, mobile, and API applications.

Knowledge of Java & Selenium (able to understand and write basic scripts).

Hands-on with SQL queries for database validation.

Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Good to Have

Exposure to automation frameworks (TestNG, Maven, Cucumber).

Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
