Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Mobile and/or Web Application testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of application architecture, backend interactions, and end-to-end workflows, along with the ability to leverage modern AI tools to enhance testing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of Mobile (Android/iOS) and Web applications to ensure high product quality
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business and technical requirements
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing across platforms
• Analyze application behavior using Android Studio, Xcode, and device/emulator logs
• Validate API integrations using tools like Postman, including:
• Understanding HTTP methods and response codes
• Extracting and executing APIs using cURL
• Debugging API failures and identifying root causes
• Perform backend validations using database queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Understand end-to-end application flows and how frontend, backend, APIs, and databases interact
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to:
• Clearly communicate defects, impact, and reproduction steps
• Participate in requirement reviews and design discussions
• Perform failure analysis and root-cause analysis for production and pre-production issues
• Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., AI-assisted test case generation, log analysis, defect analysis) to improve testing efficiency and coverage

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Manual Testing for Mobile and/or Web Applications
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Android Studio and/or Xcode
• Device/app log analysis
• API testing using Postman and cURL
• Good understanding of:
• Backend architecture and application workflows
• Databases and basic SQL for validation
• HTTP methods, status codes, and API error handling
• Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent technical communication skills, both verbal and written
