QA/QC Engineer HVAC

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our HVAC team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet both internal and external quality standards. The role involves performing audits, inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality improvement initiatives are continuously met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and systems for HVAC products.
• Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Analyze data and prepare reports for management regarding quality performance and any areas of concern.
• Collaborate with the production and design teams to resolve quality-related issues, ensuring products meet the required specifications.
• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes by identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Perform root cause analysis and problem-solving for quality issues, and implement preventive measures.
• Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier quality assessments.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, and other relevant standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, quality assurance plans, and corrective action records.
• Provide training and guidance to production staff regarding quality standards, processes, and improvement initiatives.
• Perform final product inspections before shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and their operational standards.
• Proficient in quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with quality tools (e.g., FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, Control Plans).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CAD software or other design tools.
• Certification in Quality Engineering (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt).
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance in HVAC industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
