Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers.
- Define and implement QA metrics and standards.
- Coordinate and oversee all testing activities across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration of QA processes.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Proven experience in automated testing, including hands-on experience with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Proficiency in various programming languages, such as Python, Java, Golang, Javascript for developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Experience with performance testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner, is highly desirable. (not mandatory but very desired)
- Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies and testing concepts (test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and diagnose software defects
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues to the development team for timely resolution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process, identifying areas for automation and optimization.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in automated testing tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive test automation framework.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to software quality and propose mitigation strategies.
- Automation Testing (Selenium with Java/Python) - Extensive experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, Java/Python.
- API Testing (Postman/Rest Assured)-Strong experience in API Testing using Postman/Rest Assured. Should be able to automate API tests and validate responses, status codes, and performance.
- Test Management Tools (JIRA/TestRail/ALM)- Proficiency in Test Case Management, Test Execution, and Defect Tracking using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or ALM.
- Ability to create and manage Test Plans and Test Reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
