This Position Reports To

Global Business Line Manager - Digital

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and execute tests on different products in various testing laboratories using standard testing methodologies and requirements. Each day, you will work independently by applying established standards, and instruct or coach other professionals. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring proper documentation of the test results.

The work model for the role is Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Industries Energy Industries based out in Bangalore.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through comprehensive and effective test automation practices and understating the product roadmap, product features, developing test cases and test execution for Edge/Cloud products in PAEN Digital.
• Working with Product and Project Managers to understand scope, features and estimates Testing and Automation effort for the product features along with planning quality activities with local and global development teams
• Collaborating wiith development teams; provide inputs in product meetings to deliver high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets and managing Test cases and Test results and Bugs In Azure DevOps
• Maintaining and continuously improving the test automation coverage and reliability.
• Should be proficient or have the capability of becoming proficient at installing and configuring Test Environments, troubleshooting the software, and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches and should be able to bring up Test setup based on the product requirements and own the same.
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• B. E / B. Tech / M. Tech with 60% and above 8 to 14 years of experience in Integration test planning, execution and test automation
• Working knowledge of any DCS/PLC/SCADA applications will be an added advantage and some development experience in C#/Java/Python with good background of OOP is desirable
• Experience in API & non-functional testing with the automation tools and working in an Agile development environment
• Experience in source code management tools like GitHub, Azure DevOps & Microsoft testing tools (MTM, Test controller, Test Agents) and working with virtual environments (VMware / HyperView / Azure)
• Programing Skill: C#-Selenium, PowerShell scripts, Playwright will be added advantage
• Should have excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in interfacing FTP, TCP/IP, OPC-UA/DA
• Industrial Automation domain exposure and experience in security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security is added advantage, experience in cyber, IT/OT, and network is desirable
