React IOS developer

We are looking for a technically strong React Native developer, with good iOS (Swift) experience. Proven experience of delivering React Native and native iOS apps to the App Store. You will need to be comfortable working as part of a team, but also be able to work alone.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Create UI and app components from wireframes and prototypes.

Work with native modules (both new and old architecture).

Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Help maintain excellent code quality.

Write and maintain extensive unit and automated tests.

2+ years developing high quality React Native apps (for Android/iOS), and native iOS apps.

Advanced problem-solving and debugging skills.

Commitment to high standards with clean, well-crafted code, and performant user interfaces.

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Knowledge of code versioning (Git), agile approaches, and continuous integration.

Knowledge of asynchronous RESTful APIs, and JSON serialisation.

Knowledge of common design patterns.

Solid understanding of the full app development life cycle.

Experience of unit testing and automated testing.

React

Good experience with React Native, and the respective libraries and tools.

Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).

iOS

Good experience with Swift.

Experience with Xcode.

Working knowledge of frameworks and pods.

Desirables

Experience of using/writing/maintaining React Native New Architecture components.

Experience with developing Android applications (either native, or React Native).

Understanding of Kotlin and Java.

Knowledge of streaming media and DRM.
