Overview Of The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Validation & Certification Engineer to support NIC and Storage device testing, certification, and lab infrastructure management. The role involves deploying fixed lab configurations, executing IOVP certification test suites, and performing deep technical troubleshooting across hardware, firmware, drivers, and network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with data center networking setups, hypervisors, driver validation, and failure analysis. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product compliance, performance, and certification readiness.

What You’ll Do

Lab Infrastructure & Fixed Configuration Setup

• Design and deploy physical lab topologies (Leaf-Spine or Point-to-Point) for NIC performance and functional validation.
• Manage end-to-end hardware orchestration for NICs, including firmware flashing, BIOS configuration, and OS-level network parameter alignment.
• Use tools such as Wireshark and traffic generators to troubleshoot connectivity issues, packet loss, and throughput degradation.
• Maintain detailed documentation of cabling layouts, port mappings, and hardware allocation to support automation frameworks.
  
  

• Set up, configure, and execute official IOVP test kits for NIC and Storage devices (HBA/RAID).
• Build and maintain complex test environments with multiple server architectures and hypervisors (ESXi, KVM).
• Manage specific driver and firmware combinations to ensure accurate certification coverage.
• Analyze detailed failure logs from IOVP runs and determine root cause (hardware, driver, firmware, or test-suite).
• Prepare comprehensive compliance documentation and submit final certification packages.
• Perform regression testing and ad-hoc driver validation during firmware/driver release cycles.
  
  

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• 4–8 years of experience in network validation, server testing, or certification environments.
• Strong understanding of NIC and Storage (HBA/RAID) architectures.
• Hands-on experience with server platforms, BIOS settings, firmware management, and driver validation.
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as ESXi and KVM.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, switching, routing, packet analysis).
• Experience using tools such as Wireshark and traffic generators for performance/debug analysis.
• Ability to analyze complex logs and perform structured root cause analysis.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills for certification submissions.
• Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration skills.
