The Practice – A Brief Sketch

The Technology Strategy & Advisory Practice is a part of Accenture Strategy and focuses on our clients’ most strategic priorities. We help clients achieve growth and efficiency through innovative R&D transformation, aimed at redefining business models using agile methodologies.

Here is a glimpse of your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Work as a lead SAP Functional Solution Architect and support with solutions for end-to-end request for proposal or ERP assessment requests.

• Engaging with the Client and designing new business processes based on customer requirements, scoping, discovering, explaining business benefits and use cases and developing a roadmap to meet expectations.

• Identifying, assessing and solving complex business problems across SAP S4 Hana ERP landscape throughout the project lifecycle, providing subject matter expertise with a strong strategic awareness of the SAP market and associated technologies.

• Driving enterprise business, application and integration architecture.

• Assisting clients to build the required capabilities for growth and innovation to sustain high performance.

• Support our business development activities, working with our sales teams in proposal generation, shaping the solution plan and delivery approach for SAP transformations.

• Developing our offerings and assets and participate in pre-sales activities.

• Mentoring and developing our people and contributing to asset creations and knowledge sharing sessions.

• Deep domain expertise across one/more of Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Hi-Tech, Life Sciences, Pharma, Telecom. Understanding the domain trends and technology offerings across these industry sectors.

• Proven track record to quickly understand the key value drivers of a business, how they impact the scope and approach of the engagement.

• Strong knowledge of technology trends across IT and digital and how they can be applied to companies to address real world problems and opportunities.

• Participation in Pre-Sales, Bid Management and overall appreciation of estimation, scoping and assumptions for a large SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA implementation using various methods such as ASAP or Activate or others.

• Leading proof of concept and/or pilot implementations and defining the plan to scale implementations across multiple technology domains.

• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills - ability to convey technology and business value propositions to senior stakeholders and ability to drive C-suite/senior leadership level discussions.

• Capacity to develop high impact thought leadership that articulates a forward-thinking view of the market.

• Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and client relationships.

• Demonstrated ability to develop younger talent and build a high performing team.

• MBA from a tier 1 institute

• Minimum experience of 5 years and above in SAP ERP and should have led minimum 1 S/4 HANA implementation/ transformation projects (Solution Architect/ Offshore lead)

• Working experience across:

• Experience in design and business blueprint and greenfield implementation of SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA core functionalities across FICO/FSCM and Bank management as a part of the enterprise-wide design and blueprint of SAP along with good expertise in M&A/JV scenarios of Central Finance. The ability to develop technology solutions and value adding propositions and take these to market. Cross functional experience with Procurement, SD, PP etc.

• Deep domain expertise across one/more of Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Hi-Tech, Life Sciences, Pharma, Telecom. Understanding the domain trends and technology offerings across these industry sectors.

• Evaluate different routes to implementation and driving business value from SAP HANA. Evaluating opportunity to consolidate and renovate existing SAP implementations while transforming onto a S/4 HANA platform.

• Led and delivered large-scale transformation and / or migration of SAP ECC and other legacy ERPs to the new SAP S/4 HANA architecture. Deep appreciation of one/more of the functional areas of FICO. Demonstrated expertise in an Hybrid ERP environment comprising various flavor of SAP and other 3rd party ERPs.

• Expertise in creation of business case, functional prototypes in demonstrating the value and impact of an SAP S/4 deployment, business value assessment for an implementation (either greenfield or brownfield) of SAP S/4 HANA. Real life experience in using components from SAP Activate methodology as part of program implementation.

• Good Analytical and Assessment skills in driving the discovery workshop, performing the AS-IS assessment and Fit-Gap Analysis, and providing suggestion of TO-BE design in terms of Cost, tools, people, and Organizations (i.e., change management).
