Salesforce Business Analyst

Aviato Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to play a pivotal role for one of our clients. You will be the primary liaison between the customers business stakeholders, product owners for your assigned workstream, and our technical delivery teams. Your deep understanding of Salesforce (particularly Financial Service Cloud) and your ability to translate complex business needs into well-defined technical requirements will be crucial for the project's success. You will work within a dynamic Agile environment, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, business SMEs, and User Experience / Product Designers to elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements for your assigned workstream
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, process flows, and functional specifications, ensuring clarity for the Salesforce development team.
• Leverage your expertise in Salesforce Financial Service Cloud to identify optimal solutions, utilizing out-of-the-box functionalities where possible and defining custom development needs.
• Analyze and understand integration points with other systems.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements gathering sessions.
• Work with the development and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Assist in the creation of test scenarios and support UAT efforts.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog for your workstream in collaboration with the PO and technical leads.
• Ensure that solutions align with Enterprise Architecture standard and guidelines, and data governance standards.
• Contribute to the creation of training materials and project documentation.
• Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant focus on Salesforce platform projects.
• Essential: Proven experience with Salesforce Financial Service Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including configuration, customization, data models, and security.
• Experience in translating business needs into technical Salesforce solutions.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, geographically distributed team.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is highly desirable.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Financial Service Cloud Accredited Professional) are a strong plus.
