Key Responsibilities:

• Deployment Management: Oversee the deployment of code and manual configuration to various Salesforce orgs, ensuring adherence to installation procedures (IP).
• Sanity Testing: Run sanity tests and checks post-deployment to ensure defect-free rollouts in a complex environment.
• Sandbox Management: Perform refreshes of existing and new sandboxes, managing migration and updates of users.
• Coordination with Teams: Work closely with the U.S. deployment team to clarify any ambiguities in the deployment process and ensure smooth execution.
• Defect-Free Deployment: Collaborate with offsite and offshore Development/QA teams to ensure seamless, error-free deployments.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed tracking of deployment statuses, including an audit trail and build repository documentation.
• Multi-Tasking: Operate efficiently in an agile environment, handling multiple processes simultaneously, especially during critical release times.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps with a strong understanding of Salesforce code and configuration.
• Certifications: Salesforce Dev Lifecycle & Deployment Certification or working towards it. Salesforce Developer Certification (preferred).
• Tools Knowledge: Experience with leading DevOps tools like Copado, Flosum, Autorabit, Gearset, or custom implementations.
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Metadata and Vlocity (SFI) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Salesforce release tools (VS Code, Salesforce CLI, Ant, etc.).
• Version control systems (Git, GitLab, SVN) and branching/merging knowledge.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab Pipelines, or Azure DevOps.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and ensure smooth coordination in a global setup.
