Salesforce Technical Lead (Vlocity Architect and Designer)

Job Summary

We seek a highly skilled and experienced SFDC Vlocity Architect and Designer to lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce and Vlocity solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Salesforce architecture, Vlocity tools, and telecommunications domain expertise (optional), ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design:
• Design scalable, high-performance solutions leveraging Salesforce and Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) platforms.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Define and document architectural patterns, guidelines, and frameworks.
• Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and guide them in Vlocity and Salesforce implementation.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
• Integration Expertise:
• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce, Vlocity, and other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and integration tools.
• Vlocity Development:
• Customize Vlocity components such as Omniscripts, DataRaptors, Cards, and Templates to meet business requirements.
• Optimize DataRaptors and Omniscripts for performance and scalability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Present architecture and design to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure quality and compliance with development standards, security policies, and Salesforce governance.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure optimal performance.
• Knowledge Sharing:
• Mentor junior team members and provide training on Vlocity and Salesforce best practices.
• Stay updated on Salesforce and Vlocity innovations and industry trends.
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
• 8+ years of Salesforce platform experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) tools and architecture.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Salesforce configurations and customizations (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning).
• Hands-on experience with Vlocity components such as Omniscripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and Cards.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce and Vlocity data models and architecture.
• Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ is a plus.
• Integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools (Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, etc.), and external systems.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Architect certifications (Application Architect, System Architect).
• Vlocity certifications (Developer, Architect).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of industry domains such as telecommunications, healthcare, or insurance.
