Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Java Developer with a strong background in building scalable and distributed applications using modern Java technologies. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, capable of working independently, and passionate about clean code and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable Java applications in a distributed systems environment.
• Design and build microservices using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Optimize application performance and database queries.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and design decisions.
• Integrate applications with various cloud services, preferably AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of professional experience in core Java development.
• Proficiency in Java 11+, including Streams, Lambdas, and Functional Programming.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Experience working with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on with persistence frameworks such as JPA, Hibernate, and databases like MS-SQL, PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS DevOps).
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP (preference for AWS).
• Front-end experience with React or Angular, and understanding of HTML, CSS3/Tailwind, responsive design.
• Experience with Managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Understanding of DDD (Domain-Driven Design) and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) concepts.
• Experience working with Kafka, MQs, or event buses.
• Previous exposure to the hospitality services domain is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Agile environments and version control systems, especially git.
