We are seeking a hardworking and intellectually curious delivery focused Scrum Master to help development of new Index platform for FTSE-Russell Index Business of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in our Bengaluru office. Index team is responsible for calculations of financial Indexes. The ideal candidate comes from software development and testing experience and has strong skills in work-plan development and progress tracking. The project coordinator will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goal of innovation is being achieved.

Key Responsibilities
- Owns all Scrum Ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Retros, Demos, Daily Scrums etc.
- Works closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog items are refined prior to acceptance into an iteration/sprint
- Responsible for crafting, tracking and reporting of workstream delivery progress and adherence to committed timelines
- Handles risks/dependencies across scrum teams and ensures risk management & mitigation processes are followed within the project by team members.
- Owns and Produce various Agile metrics, maintains dashboards and reports to partners and customers driving a data-driven culture.
- Establish effective working relationships with key partners, demonstrating understanding of their perspective, proactivity, and delivery focus.
- Runs the Scrum team Release activities
- Facilitates timely resolution of defects and incidents in higher environments.
- Conducts progress review reporting on planned commitments to senior leadership
- Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Certification in Agile methodologies such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Scaled Agile Certification.
- Minimum of 7 years’ software delivery experience with SDLC
- Experience working as a Scrum Master/Delivery Lead within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) would be advantageous
- Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira and confluence
- In-depth understanding of agile software development projects and lifecycle
- Strong awareness of modern development practices and micro service-based architecture
- Good understanding of cloud-based system environments and release management practices
- Coaching/Mentoring skills focused on the Agile Software Development Methodologies
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to deal with all levels of management & staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams and team members.
- Results focused with ability to work under strict deadlines and without constant supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive management style.
- Experience in financial services with an understanding of financial market data would be advantageous
- Experience working with Globally Distributed teams
