Scrum Master Job Description
Job Title: Scrum Master
Reports to: PMO Lead
Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid) or Remote within India
Team: Project Management Office (PMO)
Employment Type: Full-time
About The Role
We’re hiring a Scrum Master to support the growth and maturity of Agile practices across our software development teams. Based in our India office, this role will work closely with Engineering, Product Management, and UX Design to ensure our product delivery cycles are focused, iterative, and grounded in shared understanding.
This isn’t about enforcing ceremony—it’s about removing blockers, promoting clarity, and enabling continuous improvement. The Scrum Master is responsible for supporting high-performance Agile teams, championing best practices, and creating an environment where product and engineering teams can ship value to donors faster and more effectively.
Who You Are
You lead by support, not control. Your strength lies in helping others succeed, removing blockers, and building team trust through clear guidance and collaboration. You are passionate about Agile—not as a rigid set of rules, but as a toolkit for enabling team success. You bring calm, clarity, and structure to fast-moving, complex projects. You know how to coach individuals and guide teams without micromanaging. You can spot when a team is getting stuck—and you know how to unlock momentum without creating extra meetings or process bloat.
You’re deeply collaborative, culturally aware, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams across time zones. You’re also at home in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and other project management staples and understand how they support meaningful workflows—not just documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile ceremonies & rituals
