About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and process-oriented Scrum Master to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and support the development team in delivering high-quality automotive software solutions. You will work closely with Product Owners and global stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure full team engagement and adherence to Agile principles.
- Remove Impediments: Proactively identify and resolve blockers (technical, organizational, or administrative) to maintain team velocity and productivity.
- Team Coaching: Coach the development team in self-organization and cross-functionality; help the team understand the value of Agile practices.
- Backlog Management: Assist the Product Owner (PO) in maintaining a healthy product backlog, ensuring user stories are "Ready" for upcoming sprints.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and communicate team metrics (Velocity, Burn-down/Burn-up charts) to stakeholders to provide transparency on project progress.
- Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the onsite team in Bangalore and global stakeholders (e.g., in Germany), ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3 to 4 years of total IT experience with at least 2 years dedicated to a Scrum Master role.
- Education: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Agile Tools: Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for backlog tracking and documentation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage stakeholders in a cross-cultural environment.
- Certifications: CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) or PSM I (Professional Scrum Master) certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices is a plus.
Work Schedule & Location
- Location: Bangalore (Whitefield Campus).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, fully onsite.
- Shift: General Shift (Flexible coordination required for global meetings).
Compensation
- Take-Home Pay: ~ ₹70,000 per month (fixed based on experience and structure).
