Scrum Master

Overview

Seeking an experienced Scrum Master with 5+ years of Agile delivery experience, including at least 2 years supporting SAFe Agile Release Trains and globally distributed offshore teams. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional servant leadership, facilitation, dependency management, and stakeholder communication skills. Experience leading PI Planning, coaching teams through Agile maturity, managing cross-team dependencies, and driving continuous improvement using Jira and Agile metrics is required. SAFe Scrum Master certification and experience supporting enterprise-scale Agile transformations are strongly preferred

Agile Scrum Expertise

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience in enterprise Agile environments.
• Proven experience facilitating all Scrum ceremonies:
• Daily Standups
• Sprint Planning
• Backlog Refinement
• Sprint Reviews
• Sprint Retrospectives
• Deep understanding of Agile principles, servant leadership, and continuous improvement.
• Strong coaching skills for Product Owners, team members, and stakeholders.
• Experience using Agile metrics including velocity, burndown charts, cycle time, throughput, and team predictability.

SAFe 6.0 Experience

• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification preferred.
• Experience participating in and facilitating:
• PI Planning
• ART Syncs
• System Demos
• Inspect Adapt Workshops
• Capacity Planning
• Dependency Management
• Ability to coordinate across multiple Agile teams within an Agile Release Train (ART).
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating cross-team dependencies and risks.
• Understanding of Lean-Agile leadership principles and flow-based metrics.

Offshore / Global Team Experience

• Demonstrated success managing distributed onshore/offshore teams across multiple time zones.
• Experience working with teams in India, UK, LATAM, and North America.
• Ability to establish communication cadences that accommodate offshore teams.
• Skilled at bridging cultural and communication differences.
• Proven ability to maintain team engagement and accountability when team members are remote.
• Experience coordinating handoffs between offshore and onshore teams to support continuous delivery.
• Ability to identify and escalate blockers quickly when teams are geographically dispersed.

Leadership Facilitation

• Exceptional facilitation skills with the ability to manage difficult discussions and resolve conflicts.
• Strong servant-leader mindset focused on team empowerment rather than command-and-control.
• Ability to coach teams from forming through high-performing stages.
• Experience leading multiple Scrum teams simultaneously.
• Proven track record of removing impediments and improving delivery predictability.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Technical Delivery Knowledge

• Understanding of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and software development practices.
• Experience working with cloud, Salesforce, digital products, or enterprise application teams.
• Ability to understand technical discussions sufficiently to identify risks and dependencies.
• Experience supporting UAT, production deployments, and release readiness activities.

• Ability to create and interpret Agile dashboards and reports.
