Overview
Summary: The Scrum Master role focuses on guiding teams in the effective implementation of Agile methodologies, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring successful project execution.
Main Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Coach teams on Agile principles and practices for continuous improvement.
- Manage conflicts and maintain stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Track metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and cycle time.
- Utilize Jira or equivalent Agile management tools for workflow management.
- Leverage ALM suite (IBM) for backlog and requirements tracking.
- 7+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role.
- Strong expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
- Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies.
- Experience coaching teams on Agile principles.
- Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with metrics tracking methodologies.
- Experience with Jira or similar Agile management tools.
- Certifications such as PSM, CSM, or SAFe.
