About The Role

We are looking for candidates with 4+ years of experience who are ready to partner with us to build an AI-Augmented SOC that will evolve beyond the traditional, high-fatigue "Tier 1" manual triage model. In our AI-Augmented SOC, we will leverage an autonomous security engine to handle the "noise" of Business-As-Usual (BAU) alerts, filtering out up to 90% of false positives in real time. This allows our analysts to move from manual data processing to strategic threat containment. You will work at the center of an intelligent ecosystem, providing the final human judgment on high-fidelity, complex escalations that require institutional context.

Reporting to our Senior Manager, Security Operations, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding Xactly’s intellectual property and infrastructure. You won’t just be monitoring a queue; you will be an active participant in our transition toward AI-augmented security operations. This role operates on a rotational shift basis to ensure 24/7 coverage, providing a high-visibility vantage point across our entire security landscape.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the containment and remediation of real, validated threats, using AI-generated summaries to bypass the hours of manual "grunt work" typically required to build an incident timeline.
• Collaborate with security engineers to aggressively expand our detection library, trusting the AI to manage the resulting false positives while you focus on subtler, behavioral anomalies.
• Take ownership of security consoles to tune rules, add exclusions, and refine detection logic. Proactively suggest updates to reduce "noise" across security sensors.
• Create and maintain high-quality Knowledge Articles (KAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to standardize global SOC handovers and triage workflows.
• Assist in the deployment of next-generation security agents and contribute to the design of behavior-based detection models to identify emerging insider and external threats.
• Manage the automated Case Management System to ensure every investigation—whether fully autonomous or human-led—is documented with a clear, auditable logic trail for compliance readiness.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Solid understanding of DLP concepts, SIEM/EDR platforms, endpoint security, and data classification frameworks.
• Ability to analyze complex log data sources and identify anomalous behaviors.
• Exceptional verbal and written skills; comfortable conducting "security interviews" with employees in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Must be willing and able to work in a rotational shift environment (including nights and weekends) to support 24/7 operations.
• Proficiency or a strong interest in learning automation (Python/Bash) and the application of AI in security monitoring.
• CompTIA Security+, CEH, GIAC (GSEC), or entry-level vendor-specific certifications
