Job DescriptionNokia CNS Security Consulting brings deep global telecoms expertise and one of the world’s only end-to-end security infrastructures to help our customers transform to secure 5G networks and services. You will become part of the security consulting team with the experience to help hundreds of communications service providers (CSPs) transform their risk management, security architecture, and security operations. Security Consultants' deep insight into what’s needed, what works, and how to get results helps to stay ahead of potential threats.
Security consulting team drives not only customer engagement but also incubates innovative solutions using its labs to jointly work with research and development teams, providing a best-in-class telco security portfolio.
This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence two days per week.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Help lead customers through vulnerability management, with a focus on process, automation and report generation to a variety of stakeholders with different KPI needs.
- Showing responsibility for the security consulting portfolio and driving customer engagements
- Articulate security findings to a variety of stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Leading consultative engagements with key customers to refine security consulting capabilities to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and competitive differentiation
- Negotiate acceptance of remediation plans and timelines based on the level of risk associated with a finding
- Defining and prioritizing consulting and project requirements based on customer demand, portfolio, market trends, competitive intelligence, and technology evolutions
- This role combines deep technical know-how with high communication skills to impress Nokia customers in pre-engagement and delivery tasks
You have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) with extensive experience in security consulting and client-facing engagements, preferably in the Telecom domain, including exposure to telco environments such as Core (Voice, Packet, SDM) or RAN.
- In-depth experience of successfully managing vulnerabilities across large complex networks. Experience in processing scanning results, generating value based KPI reporting to differing levels of stakeholders, driving towards remediation.
- Knowledge of security technologies, processes, standards, as well as security operations
- Understanding of security controls across security domains such as access management, encryption, vulnerability management, AAA, network security, cloud security, incident response etc.
- Experience with security auditing, compliance, or assessment, and NIST, NIS2, PCI, ISO or SOC security guidance’s and documents
- Hands-on experience with security systems like Vulnerability Scanners, FWs, SIEMs, IAM solutions, anti DDoS, PKI
- Capability in Security automation, orchestration, or ML and cloud technologies like OpenStack, VMWare, K8S, or public clouds
