Senior AI Data Analyst / Developer

Qualification: This role is for a senior developer with 3-5 years of practical experience of data analysis, data preparation, visualisation and dashboards, for AI systems.

Job Mode: 5 Days - Work from Office

Data Analysis, Visualisation, Prompting and Analytics:

• Practical knowledge of how to evaluate models for a given use case.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL, Postgres) and vector databases (pgvector, ChromaDB).
• Explore, analyse and visualise data at scale, to gain an understanding of it, and identify differences in data distribution that could affect overall performance when deploying a model in the real world.
• Verify data quality, ensure data cleaning, establish ground truth, synthesise data, organise data for fine tuning.
• Analyse errors in LLM responses and designing strategies to overcome them

Practical AI Skills:

• Understanding of generative AI, large language models and other foundation models from the perspective of how these technologies may be used in a range of use cases in business applications.
• Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience of how to use models programmatically via APIs for a variety of use cases.
• Understanding of AI engineering solutions architectures, the essential components of them, for example RAG, and how these work together as a whole.
• Ability to select hardware to run an ML model with the required latency.
• Deploy LLMs to production.
• Train models and tune their hyperparameters.
• Analyze the machine learning algorithm that could be used to solve a given problem and rank them by their success probability.
• Knowledge of OpenCV is an added advantage.
• Proficiency with deep learning framework such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud, AWS Sagemaker.

General Skills, Experience and Knowledge (Must have):

• Should be comfortable with rapid prototyping practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for ML such as scikit-learn and pandas.
• Ability to understand the NLP framework such as Spacy.
• Understanding of crawling framework like Scrapy would be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Linux OS.
• Familiarity with REST API.
• Excellent communication skill.
• Ability to work in team and as an individual
