Senior AI Engineer

Overview

is seeking an experienced Azure AI Services Developer to design, build, and integrate AI-powered capabilities into enterprise and customer-facing applications using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

The role focuses on enabling AI services for custom applications rather than pure research—working closely with application teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver production-ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-enabled features using Azure AI Services for custom web and mobile applications
• Integrate Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning into existing Microsoft-based applications
• Build intelligent services such as:
• Conversational AI (chatbots, copilots)
• Speech-to-Text / Text-to-Speech
• Document Intelligence (OCR, form extraction)
• Computer Vision & Image Analysis
• Language Translation & NLP use cases
• Develop and expose AI capabilities via REST APIs / microservices
• Work closely with .NET, Power Platform, and frontend teams to embed AI services into apps
• Implement prompt engineering, model tuning, and safety guardrails for GenAI use cases
• Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy (RBAC, private endpoints, Azure Key Vault)
• Optimize AI solutions for performance, scalability, and cost
• Support PoCs, pilots, and enterprise rollouts across environments (Dev / Test / Prod)
• Collaborate with cloud architects on Azure-native architecture design
• Produce technical documentation and implementation guidelines
  
  

• Core Experience o5–6 years of overall software development experience o1–2 years of hands-on experience with Azure AI Services in real-world projects oAzure & AI Skills
• Strong experience with: oAzure OpenAI Service oAzure Cognitive Services (Language, Vision, Speech, Document Intelligence)
• Azure Machine Learning (basic to intermediate)
  
  

oExperience with prompt engineering and GenAI application patterns

oUnderstanding of Responsible AI principles in Azure

Development Skills

• Proficiency in C# (.NET / .NET Core) or Python
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Power Platform integration (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus
• Experience with Azure Functions, App Services, or AKS for AI workloads
• Microsoft Ecosystem
• Hands-on with Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities
• Experience integrating AI services with:
• Microsoft 365
• SharePoint
• Dynamics 365
• Custom enterprise applications
  
  

• Experience with Copilot Studio or building custom copilots
• Knowledge of vector databases (Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, Pinecone, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
• Exposure to multi-language (Arabic & English) AI solutions
• Experience working in enterprise or government environments
