Senior Android Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with 5–8 years of experience in designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to various layers of the application infrastructure. A strong commitment to collaborative problem-solving, elegant and scalable design, and delivering high-quality products is essential for success in this role.

Your tasks

• Designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Working with outside data sources and APIs (RESTful, GraphQL, Firebase, etc.)
• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Fixing bugs and improving application performance
• Continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to code reviews and technical documentation
• Adhering to clean code and scalable architecture principles such as MVVM / MVI, modularization, and clean architecture
• Participating in the release process, including Play Store deployment

Requirements

• Android app development with 5–8 years of hands-on experience
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack libraries (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, WorkManager)
• Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose and declarative UI patterns
• Expertise in Dependency Injection using Hilt or Dagger
• Familiarity with MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture patterns
• Competence in Unit Testing and UI Testing with JUnit, Espresso, and MockK
• Integration of third-party SDKs such as Firebase, Crashlytics, and Analytics
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Bitrise, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
• Understanding of the complete mobile development life cycle and Agile methodologies

Nice-to-have requirements

• Exposure to modular app development and multi-module projects
• Understanding of performance optimization and memory management in Android
• Experience with Jetpack Compose animation and custom layouts
• Familiarity with tools like SonarQube, Lint, or static analysis
• Contribution to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio
