Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our innovative and dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge Android applications, creating exceptional user experiences that leverage your deep expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement features, provide technical leadership, and guide the development of shared business logic using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the design and development of high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to deliver intuitive and seamless user experiences.
• Lead the development of shared business logic using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) to ensure consistency and reusability across platforms.
• Ensure the implementation of clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Android development best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, implement, and optimize new features across platforms.
• Guide the development and maintenance of unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests for both Android-specific and shared KMP code.
• Guide the implementation and integration of RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for enhanced application functionality.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Ensure adherence to Android architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture) and best practices to ensure maintainable, scalable, and high-quality code.
• Maintain a strong focus on accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and UX principles to ensure inclusive and high-quality user experiences.
• Leverage analytics platforms like Firebase or Google Analytics to drive data-informed decisions and optimizations.
• Work with A/B testing methodologies and analyze data to optimize the user experience and app performance.

Technical Skills Required:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proven expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for building modern, high-performance Android applications.
• Strong experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) for developing shared business logic across platforms.
• In-depth understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.) and best practices.
• Expertise in designing and integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with analytics platforms like Firebase or Google Analytics to track and analyze app usage and performance.
• Proficiency in writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, including testing shared KMP code.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Playwright, or similar.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and UX principles for creating inclusive applications.
• Experience with A/B testing methodologies and data analysis to optimize app features and user experiences.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Good understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI) principles to create intuitive user interfaces.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with additional Android libraries and frameworks (e.g., Room, Hilt, Retrofit).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automating build and deployment processes.
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., Firebase Cloud Functions, AWS).
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for mobile apps.
• Experience with mobile security best practices.
• Familiarity with Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming.
