Senior Automation Test Engineer – Selenium & Performance Testing

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium automation, Java, and JMeter-based performance testing. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile environments, driving quality across UI and backend systems, and ensuring performance benchmarks are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.
• Build and execute performance tests using JMeter, analyze results, and suggest optimizations.
• Develop robust, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews, requirement analysis, and sprint planning.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis.

Requirements:

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium and Java.
• Strong expertise in JMeter for performance/load/stress testing.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in testing web-based applications and APIs.
• Proficient in writing and debugging Java code for test automation.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
• Ability to independently plan, develop, and execute test strategies.
