Overview
Senior Azure Cloud Engineer
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Azure infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize Azure services including VMs, Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, VNETs, Azure DevOPs.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Set up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Monitor and maintain cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Ensure cloud architecture meets compliance, governance, and security requirements.
- Migrate workloads from Azure to Azure, On-premise to Azure, Other Cloud to Azure
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior cloud engineers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues in a cloud environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Closely work with sales team and customer team for requirement gathering and deployment phases
- 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in Azure cloud.
- Deep understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and networking services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform).
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration using AKS.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices (RBAC, NSG, managed identities, etc.).
- Experience in Migrating workload
- Experience in designing and deploying infrastructure in Azure
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning in Azure.
- University Degree or Equivalent
- Azure certifications
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in Azure.
- Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
