Senior Back End Developer

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of backend engineering experience using Python, Node.js, or Go
• Currently employed in a product-based organization (not purely services/outsourcing)
• Strong skills in designing RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization (JWT/OAuth2, RBAC)
• Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, query optimization
• Experience with caching strategies (Redis, Memcached)
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming, event-driven systems, message queues (SQS, Kafka, Pub/Sub)
• Experience in cloud infrastructure and serverless architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, version control workflows
• Ability to take ownership, work independently in fast-paced setups, and deliver high-quality solutions
• Good communication, collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python / Node.js / Go
• Model and optimize data schemas, queries, and database performance
• Implement caching, indexing, and other performance enhancements
• Build background tasks, cron jobs, event-driven workflows, message processing systems
• Deploy services using microservice or serverless paradigms
• Ensure reliability, security, observability, and scalability of systems
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to ship features end-to-end
• Conduct code reviews, optimize CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance
• Leverage AI-assist tools (Copilot, Tabnine, etc.) to improve productivity and code quality
