Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Experience in the insurance domain is a must for this role, along with knowledge of Order Management systems, RPG, and AS400.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop functional specifications and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding.
• Conduct gap analysis and suggest process improvements or system enhancements.
• Support testing efforts, including creating test cases, conducting UAT, and validating system functionality.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
• Provide training and support to end-users as needed.

Experience & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT services or consulting environments.
• Strong domain knowledge and experience in the insurance sector is mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex processes.
• Experience working with Order Management systems, RPG, and AS400 is preferred.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Experience working in agile or iterative development environments.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with data mapping and data modelling concepts.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Exposure to cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) is an added advantage.
• Experience in delivering solutions for global clients.
