Overview
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sr Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience to drive product vision, strategy, and delivery for key projects. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that product goals are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered with high value to end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog, defining and prioritizing features, user stories, and tasks based on business value.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to gather and refine product requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories for development teams.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Project Manager, Developers, QA, and UX/UI teams to ensure successful sprint planning and delivery.
- Act as the voice of the customer, advocating for end-user needs throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Lead sprint reviews, backlog grooming, and product demos to showcase progress and gather feedback.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and user satisfaction.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with product strategy and goals.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
- Precisely create and own the end-to-end project documentation like BRD, SRS, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Project matrices, MOM etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Post Sales Experience is Must.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management best practices.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects or backlogs simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
- Ability to translate technical information into business context and vice versa.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Manager, or equivalent.
- Experience in software or technology-focused companies.
- Familiarity with UX principles and customer journey mapping.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making and working with KPIs or OKRs.
