Role Overview :
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making
across the organization. This role goes beyond analysis and reporting - you will own problem
statements end-to-end, define success metrics, guide junior analysts, and work closely with leadership
and cross-functional stakeholders to influence strategy, operations, and student outcomes.
You will work with large, complex datasets related to student performance, operations, growth, and
revenue, and translate insights into clear recommendations that directly impact business and academic
outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :
● Own and drive high-impact analytical problem statements across central operations and
academic teams.
● Define, track, and monitor key business and student success KPIs across the student lifecycle.
● Lead deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
● Design, build, and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks (Google Sheets /
BI tools).
● Partner closely with stakeholders (Ops, Academics, Growth, Leadership) to translate business
questions into analytical solutions.
● Use SQL extensively to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
● Leverage Python (pandas) for advanced analysis, automation, and experimentation where
needed.
● Communicate insights clearly through storytelling, presentations, and written documentation.
● Support experimentation, hypothesis testing, and impact measurement of new initiatives.

Qualifications :
● 2-5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a similar role.
● Strong proficiency in SQL (advanced queries, joins, window functions).
● Advanced skills in Google Sheets (complex formulas, pivots, automations).
● Strong foundation in Statistics (distributions, correlation, hypothesis testing,
experimentation).
● Ability to independently structure ambiguous problems and drive them to closure.
● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
● Come up and own new initiatives from Analytics POV to solve business problems
● Must have experience building dashboards in any of the BI tools (Metabase, Power BI,
Tableau).

Bonus Points if you:
● Have hands-on experience with Python (pandas, NumPy) for analysis and automation.
● Have worked in ed-tech, consumer tech, or fast-paced startup environments.
