Job Description – Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Business Analyst to act as the strategic bridge between our business stakeholders and Technology teams. In this role, you will be responsible for unearthing deep business contexts and translating complex organizational needs into actionable technical requirements. As an MBA-qualified professional, you will go beyond basic task tracking to provide industry-specific insights, competitor benchmarking, and high-level solution demonstrations. You will ensure that our technology solutions are not just functional but are a precise reflection of the business landscape in sectors where Firstsource is deep rooted.

Responsibilities

• Business-Technology Translation: Navigate the gap between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring the "Why" behind every feature is understood by the development team.
• Contextual Analysis: Deep-dive into business workflows to unearth underlying requirements that stakeholders may not have explicitly articulated.
• Requirements Management: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of requirements, from initial elicitation and documentation to tracking and validation within the final technology solution.
• Strategic Research: Conduct comprehensive Competitor Mapping and industry trend analysis to ensure our solutions remain competitive and aligned with market standards.
• Domain Leadership: Apply deep subject matter expertise in one or more key sectors (e.g., Healthcare Payer/Provider, Banking, Mortgage, Telco, or Utilities) to guide project direction.
• Case Study Development: Author detailed case studies and white papers that showcase project successes, ROI, and the business value of implemented solutions.
• Solution Demonstration: Lead professional demonstrations and "Proof of Concept" presentations for executive stakeholders, effectively communicating how the technology addresses specific business pain points.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate workshops and interviews to achieve consensus among diverse groups of business and technical leaders.
• Gap Analysis: Identify opportunities from "As-Is" processes to arrive at "To-Be" technology states, proposing strategic interventions to mitigate risks.
