Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on business analysis skills with agile methodology experience. This role focuses on requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder management, and solution design. The candidate will work on client-facing projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to delivering high-quality business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business analysis activities independently and create comprehensive BA collaterals like BRDs, FSDs, wireframes, and process flows
- Gather and analyze business requirements through direct interaction with clients and business stakeholders
- Implement agile practices/ceremonies in project teams and participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria and maintain product backlogs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and designers to ensure requirement clarity
- Facilitate requirement discussions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings
- Support business process improvements and contribute to solution design activities
- Participate in BA CoE activities and engage in building futuristic products/prototypes
Expectations:
- Must have 5+ years of overall industry experience as a BA
- Must have hands-on experience with BA functional areas: Flow Charts, Wire-framing, Requirements Documentation, API documentation, Process Mapping
- Must have used tools like: Jira, Confluence, Figma, FigJam, Visio, or similar BA tools
- Must have excellent communication skills to discuss requirements with clarity and present to stakeholders
- Must have worked in US/Europe/Australia based client-facing projects and performed roles of Business Analyst
- Must have strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to solve business scenarios
- Must have experience working in agile methodology with understanding of scrum ceremonies
- Must demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Must be proactive in approach and demonstrate effective time management capabilities
- Should have experience in requirements validation, traceability, and change management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in engineering/IT +MBA from reputed institutes
- Relevant certifications (CBAP, CSPO, PSM, PSPO)
- Good understanding of technology landscape and basic technical concepts
- Experience working with SQL queries for data analysis
- Experience with testing activities and defect management
- Domain knowledge in at least one area (Healthcare, Insurance, Finance, Retail/eCommerce) will be an added advantage
- Product Owner experience will be an added advantage.
