About The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst in the FinTech domain, you will play a strategic role in driving product vision into execution. You will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, compliance teams, and technology units to ensure seamless delivery of financial solutions. This role requires strong domain expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage complex financial workflows, regulatory requirements, and system integrations.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process optimization, mitigating risks, ensuring regulatory alignment, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of leading requirement discussions independently while mentoring junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Lead requirement elicitation workshops, stakeholder interviews, and gap analysis sessions.
• Convert business requirements into detailed BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation and testing of requirements.
• Perform impact analysis for new regulatory guidelines, product changes, or system enhancements.
• Support UAT planning and execution; ensure smooth sign-off from business stakeholders.
• Analyze data trends and provide insights to improve product performance and customer experience.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, reporting, and documentation standards.
• Act as a bridge between business, compliance, operations, and technology teams.
  
  

• Strong understanding of digital payments, lending platforms, NBFC processes, banking integrations, or financial products.
• Knowledge of KYC/AML regulations, RBI guidelines, compliance frameworks, or financial risk management.
• Experience working with APIs, third-party integrations, payment gateways, or core banking systems.
• Familiarity with financial data analysis, transaction lifecycle, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
  
  

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field.
• 4–8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in FinTech or BFSI domain.
• Strong documentation skills (BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, wireframes).
• Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, SQL, Excel, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  
  

• Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum certification.
• Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an added advantage.
