Senior Business Analyst – KYC

Overview

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in KYC/AML, regulatory compliance, and Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will lead requirement analysis, process design, and multi-jurisdictional compliance alignment. Strong experience in Agile delivery models is essential. Knowledge of the lending and credit lifecycle is a strong plus

KYC Strategy & optimization:

• Lead end-to-end analysis of KYC, CDD/EDD, and onboarding processes.

• Identify automation and process improvement opportunities.

• Serve as SME for UBO identification, sanctions screening, and regulatory alignment.

Regulatory & Compliance Leadership:

• Interpret global AML and sanctions regulations.

• Translate requirements into process and system changes.

• Support regulatory audits and remediation work.

Agile Delivery Leadership:

• Own epics, features, BRDs/FRDs, and detailed user stories.

• Lead Agile ceremonies and drive prioritization discussions.

• Oversee UAT strategy and execution.

Stakeholder & Program Leadership:

• Liaise with Technology, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams.

• Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives.

• Support change management, training, and governance

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–10 years of experience as a BA in BFSI with core KYC/AML focus.
• Deep knowledge of Corporate & Institutional Banking client structures.
• Strong understanding of AML, FATCA, CRS, UBO, sanctions, and PEP rules.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Expertise in process modelling (BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart).

Bonus Skills

• Lending domain experience—origination, underwriting, covenants.
• Familiarity with Fenergo, Actimize, FircoSoft, or LexisNexis
• Knowledge of SQL, analytics, or workflow automation tools.

Work Model

• Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days/week in-office.
• Location: Gurugram (Gurgaon).

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Certifications such as CAMS, CKYCA, or CKYCP preferred.
