We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst

In this role, you will:

• Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, SAS) and good hold on data analysis languages including SQL, Python, and R.
• Experience to produce key project documents such as Solution Proposal, High Level Design and Mapping documents and provide inputs for TOR / Project Charter, Test Strategy, Implementation plan, Non-Functional Requirements and Post Implementation Report.
• Conduct in-depth data analyses using advanced statistical methods and tools to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights.
• Own the requirement gathering and data analysis issues and ensure its resolution by engaging appropriate teams.
• Experience in producing estimation and analysis plan in sync with overall project plan and proactively communicate any deviations to all relevant stakeholders.
• Creation of Functional Scenario’s for functional testing if required and with business teams support.
• Co-coordinating with build, testing and business teams for end-to-end implementation of project.
• Co-coordinating with business teams to get sign-off for production deployment.
• Provide Post Production Support after Go-live in terms of addressing business queries.Ensure compliance to HSBC Product Owner to process, procedures, and controls
  
  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Experience as Data Analysts leading large data management projects involving Data Warehouses/Data Lakes
• Experience in leading projects as Data Analysts related to Database technologies such as Big Query, Databricks, Oracle, Teradata and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in working as Data Analysts on projects related to Cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
• Experience of performing GAP/Impact Assessment especially for large scale Migration projects.
• Experiences/Knowledge of implementing Data Quality and Data Integrity controls.
• Experiences/Knowledge of BI and Data Visualization tools such as Cognos, Qliksense or Tableau.
• Experience in agile and DevOps environment using team collaboration tools such as Github, Confluence and JIRA.
• Proven product owner proficiency thru Professional / Certified Scrum Org.
• Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
• Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
• Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
• Understanding basic machine learning concepts and algorithms can be beneficial, especially for roles that overlap with data science.
• Minimum 1 GCP certificate completion (Cloud Engineer / Data Engineer / Architect).
• Experience in producing project documents and progress through Jira, Confluence and Clarity.
• Proven track record of leading projects as Data Analysts across medium, large and complex data migration & data infrastructure projects.
• Thorough understanding of Data Environment and Data Infrastructure.
• Experience with GCP, Teradata and Data Stage environments.
• Well versed with data systems migration from On-Prem to Cloud.
• Proven practical experience of entire project lifecycle (SDLC/Waterfall and Agile/Scrum with DevOps knowledge)
• Experiences/Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL
• Experiences/Knowledge of BI and Data Visualization tools such as Qliksense or Tableau
