We are responsible for Infrastructure offering for specialized workloads, bare-metal and software capabilities on Azure, involving large-scale specialized solutions like Azure VMWare Solutions, SAP, Oracle, Epic Healthcare systems, AI Infrastructure, and more. We are looking for customer-focused and passionate engineers from diverse computer science fields, like hardware, operating systems, networking, security, distributed design, and enterprise solutions, with focus on quality and sustainability.

Your ability to be the customer advocate, focus on service first, and part of a team that tears down silos to deliver the best customer experience will be critical for team’s and your success.

Responsibilities

• Network Design and Architecture: Develop and implement network solutions tailored to the organization's strategic goals, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Automation of complex workflows using scripting or networking tools to simplify management
• Customer first vision: Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements for mission critical workloads and build seamless experiences to deploy them in Azure.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and system upgrades.
• Project Leadership: Lead network-related projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging computing technologies, tools, and trends, evaluating their potential application in enhancing our infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with other engineers, teams, partners and PMs to deliver mission critical workloads in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring value-to-customers and live-site excellence.
• Lead, mentor, and guide engineers in the team, bringing clarity, creating energy, and driving results.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with a proven track record of managing complex network systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF, RIPv2 and EIGRP.
• Exposure to network encapsulation technologies such as VLAN, GENEVE, EVPN, and VXLAN.
• Hands-on experience on physical network devices such Cisco Nexus or Juniper, or Arista.
• Demonstrates proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on solving critical network issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders or customers.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• L2/L3 network device configuration, troubleshooting, topology design
• Troubleshooting switching and routing in hybrid production environments
• L3 Routing Protocols: BGP, ISIS, OSPF, RIPv2, EIGRP
• L2 Switching: VLAN, VXLAN, EVPN, GENEVE
• SD Networking and Architecture: VMware NSX, HCX
• Network Design: Reliability, resiliency, scalability, cloud infrastructure
• Network Troubleshooting: Performance analysis, packet capture, troubleshooting tools
• Network Automation: Python scripting, PowerShell, auto-mitigation of issues
