Senior Data Analyst - Business Strategy

Overview

At Seekho, content is the product — and DAU is our north star.As a Senior Data Analyst – Content & DAU, you won’t just track numbers. You’ll shape what millions of learners see, consume, and come back for. Your insights will directly influence what content gets built, pushed, killed, or doubled down on.

• Gets bored making the same dashboards
• Loves asking “but why did users actually do this?”
• Wants your work to visibly move DAU, not just sit in a deck

This role is for you.

What you’ll actually do (day to day)

• Deep dive into user behavior, content performance & retention
• Own core metrics like DAU, retention, engagement, stickiness
• Partner closely with Content, Growth & Product — not as support, but as a thought partner
• Break down user journeys: what hooks users, what drops them, and what brings them back
• Design and analyze experiments (A/B tests) around content formats, discovery & cadence
• Combine data + real user conversations to uncover insights others miss
• Turn messy data into clear, opinionated recommendations
• Constantly ask: “What should we do differently this week to move DAU?”

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on data analytics experience (consumer app / content / edtech a plus)
• Strong SQL skills — you should be comfortable pulling and slicing your own data
• Experience working on product, content, or growth analytics
• Solid understanding of funnels, cohorts & retention
• Someone who’s comfortable with ambiguity and enjoys figuring things out
• Clear communicator — you can explain insights to non-technical teams without jargon

You have an edge if you…

• Have worked with tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA, Looker, Metabase
• Have run or analyzed A/B experiments
• Have paired quantitative data with qualitative user insights
• Are genuinely curious about how people learn and consume content
