About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Science team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, expertise in SQL and Excel, and experience in working with large datasets. This role requires proficiency in data visualization, reporting, and stakeholder communication. The candidate should be capable of driving data-driven insights that support business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and complex joins to extract and manipulate data.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and IT, to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on key performance metrics and identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met.
- Mentor junior analysts and support team development through best practices in analytics and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, joins, CTEs, subqueries, and stored procedures).
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query and Advanced Excel .
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
- Experience in working with large datasets and databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, or BigQuery).
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge on SSMS, SSDT, Visual Studio Etc..
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in contact center analytics or financial services is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP for data processing.
- Prior experience in predictive modeling and machine learning is beneficial but not mandatory.
Interview Process:
- HR Round – Initial discussion to assess fitment.
- 1-on-1 with Manager – In-depth discussion on experience and problem-solving ability.
- Excel & SQL Assessment (On-Site) – Candidates will be required to visit the office for a hands-on test.
- Presentation Round – Topic will be provided once 3rd round is cleared (Virtual)
