Role Introduction
Sr Data Analyst - Data Eco-System
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our newly established Data Eco-System team. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for identifying key trends, spotting anomalies, supporting both Operational and Development teams, and uncovering actionable patterns in data. Your ability to communicate insights clearly—whether visually, in writing, or verbally—will be key in aligning findings with business goals and making complex data understandable to a broad audience.
This role is central to enhancing our service quality and operational efficiency through data-driven strategies.
What You Will Do
Key Responsibilities
Source and concatenate data-sets: take data from various sources and systems, normalise, manage, clean and aggregate into cohesive data models.
Deduplicate and Match data-sets: work alongside others in the Data Eco-System team to define and add quality through cleaning and consistency. Align data which needs to populate multiple systems.
Data Quality Management: Conduct data quality assessments and implement measures to enhance data accuracy and integrity. Work with others in the team to Operationalise the data exceptions and reporting.
Collaboration: Work closely within and across the functional teams to gather requirements and with Stakeholders to help drive this area forward.
Visualise and Transform: take the outputs from the data manipulations and visualise insights be they performance, trends, exceptions or patterns. Link these to Business Process and Flows e.g. Order to Cash, Billing and so on
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data-sets, data flows, and ETL routines.
What You Will Have
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience minimum 5 years as a Data Analyst.
Delivery focus: you will have a drive to deliver outputs which can be readily consumed by our Stakeholders.
Technical Expertise: Expert knowledge tools PowerBI, SQL, Python, ETL techniques, Excel and XML.
Presentation Tools: PowerPoint and HTML.
Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to liaise with various teams and explain complex data insights and issues clearly.
Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering is typically required or proven experience working with data-sets.
Would be really good to have
Transformation or Migration: working in a Project team to compile, clean and migrate data.
Process Automation: understanding and ability to document, design and script workflows and automations.
Enterprise Systems: An understanding of data structures in Salesforce. ServiceNow and BMC Helix would also be advantageous but not essential.
Data Integration tool: Knowledge of or Experience in Dell Boomi
