Position Summary...

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will contribute towards pioneering ad hoc AI-based automated analytics, and exploratory data analysis for Walmart Connect. You will have access to our limitless global data and all the new data to be harvested from our e-commerce and Ad Tech platforms. You will be able to influence decisions that not only influence how we make decisions but also create an impact at an unprecedented scale.

• Position Responsibilities: 
• Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Airflow for building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Experience with Machine Learning model development and Generative/Agentic AI frameworks (e.g. LLMs, Transformers, LangChain) especially in the Data Management space
• Experience working with REST APIs & JSON for service integration
• Power BI/ Tableau dashboard development experience is a plus.
• Developing clear and concise documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and presentations, to communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Build multi-stakeholder relationships by collaborating with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and other teams to inform, test, and implement product and operational improvements.

Key Requirements:

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• You have solid experience developing and implementing generative AI models, with a strong understanding of deep learning techniques such as GPT, VAE, GANs, LLMs.
• You are proficient in Python and have experience with machine learning/LLM/Gen AI libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Langchain
• You are familiar with cloud-based platforms and services, such as GCP, or Azure.
• You have experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools, such as Hugging Face.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in NLP, LLMs, Gen AI models development

• Lead & motivate team, develop long-term operational strategies & handle rapidly shifting business demands.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving mindset to push boundaries.
• 10+ years of experience in Data Analytics domain
• Willing to work late hours to overlap with US business functions.
• Storytelling experience with data visualizations in Tableau / Power BI / Looker, etc.
• Strong data exploration.
• You're an inquisitive and out-of-the-box thinker who is continually on the lookout for opportunities to improve and innovate analytic solutions.
• You have a spirit of entrepreneurship and can connect what is with why.
• You are adaptable and have the courage to fail fast.
• Minute attention to detail to capture the smallest anomalies in executed tasks.
