Overview

Global Sales Services & Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales & services leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's sales force, which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world.

About this role:

The Sr.Data Analyst role is part of the Sales & Services Reporting & Automation team that stands at the forefront of developing cutting-edge automated data solutions for Gartner’s Global Sales and Services Delivery teams. This is your opportunity to lead a high-impact analytics team, dedicated to driving automation, solving complex problems, and managing key stakeholder relationships, ultimately delivering significant and measurable business outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders to transform strategic needs into actionable automated data insights, driving informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Business Intelligence Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust business intelligence solutions using Python, SQL, Databricks and Power BI, ensuring scalability and stability to support evolving business needs.
  • Initiative Leadership: Spearhead automation initiatives to streamline data processes, enhancing business efficiency and agility through innovative solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders by effectively communicating automation strategies and priorities, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Teamwork: Uphold the highest ethical standards while fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

What you will need:

  • 4-6 years of professional experience with a degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Mastery of data visualization techniques and tools for impactful storytelling through dashboards, with a primary focus on Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Python and essential libraries such as NumPy and Pandas, with a proven track record of creating efficient ETL processes, preferably in Databricks.
  • Expert SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation, enabling the creation of innovative & automated data solutions.
  • A knack for creative problem-solving, with sharp qualitative and quantitative abilities and a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior leaders and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to support data analysis and presentation.
