Hybrid Work Model

At Assent, we proudly embrace a remote-first work model, valuing the flexibility and autonomy it provides our team. We also acknowledge the intangible benefits of occasional in-person workdays. For team members situated within 50 kms/31 miles of our five global offices in Ottawa, Eldoret, Penang, Columbus, Pune and Amsterdam, you can expect to come into the office 1-3 days a week. Similarly, those near our co-working spaces in Nairobi and Toronto are encouraged to work onsite once a month.

Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Revenue Analytics team in Pune. This role partners closely with our Data Scientist, Analytics Engineer, and global Revenue Operations leaders to translate business questions into reliable metrics, scalable datasets, and actionable insights across the revenue lifecycle. If the Data Scientist focuses on advanced modeling and experimentation, the Senior Data Analyst ensures the analytical foundation, business context, and operational insights that make those models impactful.

This full-time onsite role is ideal for someone who blends strong technical skills with business acumen and thrives in a collaborative, high-impact environment.

What You’ll Do

Turn business questions into actionable insights

Analyze data across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to surface trends, risks, and growth opportunities. Deliver clear, decision-ready insights that guide revenue strategy and execution.

Own revenue metrics & reporting

Define, build, and maintain core revenue KPIs—including pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, conversion rates, retention, and expansion. Ensure metric consistency, documentation, and alignment across teams.

Build analytical foundations

Design scalable data models and curated datasets that support advanced analytics and data science initiatives. Partner with the Data Scientist and Analytics Engineer to ensure clean, reliable, and analysis-ready data.

Support forecasting & planning

Develop analyses that improve forecast accuracy, capacity planning, territory design, and performance management across the GTM organization.

Enable executive decision-making

Translate complex analysis into clear narratives and recommendations for Revenue leadership. Partner with the Data Visualization Specialist to deliver insights through world-class dashboards and executive presentations.

Collaborate globally

Work closely with the Director of Revenue Analytics, Data Scientist, Analytics Engineer, and Revenue Operations leaders and across global teams to align priorities, share insights, and co-develop analytics solutions.

Strengthen data quality & governance

Establish best practices for data validation, documentation, and analytical rigor. Proactively identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and process improvements.

Qualifications

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis roles—ideally supporting GTM, Revenue Operations, or SaaS organizations
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets
• Solid experience with Salesforce CRM data and revenue workflows
• Strong understanding of revenue concepts: pipeline, bookings, forecasting, churn, expansion, and productivity
• Experience partnering with data science and engineering teams to support advanced analytics initiatives
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to influence business stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field (Master’s a plus)

• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)
