Data analysts are needed as part of our team . The analyst’s primary role would be to understand the requirements from users, prepare the business requirement document, model the analysis, and translate them into technical aspects that the technical developers can use as input to prepare ETL and reports. Specifically, key result areas would include:

• Comprehending business requirements for analysis from cross-functional teams
• Planning and documenting the data analysis by converting requests into work steps to enable the technical team to develop the necessary dashboards and visualisations
• Guiding the ETL engineers and the dashboard developers through the analytical cycle
• Address feedback and modification requests
• Work efficiently as a team member and offer support to senior management through meaningful updates

Role:

The role requires a minimum of four years of experience in data analytics with a functional background in business processes, and intermediate knowledge of any analytical software. The analyst must demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Candidates who have worked for large organisations as part of an in-house reporting or analytics teams would be preferred. Candidates who have worked for consulting firms who serve large organisations, are also encouraged to apply.

Technical Capabilities:

Proven work experience of four to six years as a Data Analyst is essential.

• Strong understanding of business processes and control environment
• Proficient in translating business requirements into activities that would enable the data engineer and visualisation team to easily deliver
• Ability to identify and document process flows based on activities, data points and controls
• Demonstrable ability to investigate data to achieve the purpose of analysis
• Excellent conceptualisation of using visualisation to present the outcome of the analysis
• Hands-on experience in using any visualisation application (Power BI, Tableau or Qlik)
• Capability to seek solutions through ambiguity and conceptualise meaningful solutions
• Experience in Visio
• Excellent mathematical and computational skills

Working Capabilities:

Proficient in and keen to work in a team-oriented environment

• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills for managing technical and non-technical teams
• Passionate about learning new skills and is a quick learner
• Ability to use technology to solve business problems and work in fast-paced environments

• Demonstrate ability as a self-starter and to complete tasks independently
• Documentation of work

Education:

Candidates preferably from data science or mathematics or statistics accountancy or business backgrounds

Certifications:

· Data analysis certification would be an added advantage

Languages:

Excellent communication skills in spoken and written in English is a must.

Working Location:

The role is onsite at Chennai and hence, only Chennai residents or candidates with immediate willingness to relocate to Chennai may apply.

Working Hours:

Indian Standard Time – 8 hours a day

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
