Overview
Job Description
As a Data Engineer you will:
- Design, implement and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Python, Databricks
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions that meet our data processing and analysis needs
- Ensure performance, reliability, security and maintainability of data pipelines
- Develop monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve data engineering processes and practices
Core/Must have skills:
- Minimum 10-14 years for experience in Information Technology
- Very good understanding of Databricks Platform on AWS Cloud
- Strong proficiency in Python and Databricks(AWS) in production environment
- Strong understanding of Data Architecture and modelling concepts
- Highly knowledgeable about data warehousing principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge on Unity Catalog and Data Governance in Databricks
- Experience creating data pipelines using Databricks.
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and integration of AWS with Github
- Experience in configuring automated jobs for data process in Databricks
- Ability to learn new technologies based on the project needs
Good to have skills:
- Certification on Databricks
- Knowledge of Informatica MDM and Master Data Management
- Data migration from on-prim to AWS Databricks
Work Schedule: Hybrid
