Senior Data Engineer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure tools and data warehousing concepts. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, Data Analysis, and Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW). This role involves working on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), data quality management, and data auditing to ensure seamless data integration and processing.

Experience- 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, Microsoft technologies, and Azure cloud tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with Microsoft Azure tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Spark (knowledge of these is an added advantage).

Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to transform structured and unstructured data into a data warehouse or other target applications.

Ensure data quality, data governance, and data integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle.

Work with service & support teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.

Develop and optimize backend database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into data solutions.

Lead a small team and mentor junior developers for high-quality deliverables.

Technical Skills:

Strong expertise in BI and EDWH concepts.

Experience with Microsoft ETL tools (SSIS, ADF) and working with Azure technologies.

Proficiency in data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and database development.

General Skills:

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Experience in team handling and mentoring.
