Role Overview:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Sr Data Engineer to spearhead our Data Foundation team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise in data engineering and development, and a passion for driving data strategy and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and developers.
- Work with Service Manager, Service Owner and the Architecture team to architect and implement scalable data solutions and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business goals.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met.
- Drive continuous improvement in data processes and technologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Mandatory experience with ETL and understanding of ETL concepts.
- Experience implementing master data management solutions.
- Strong exposure to SQL, with the ability to write queries to validate data between DB applications.
- Experience with implementing APIs using FastAPI and GraphQL.
- Development of RESTful services with a good understanding of micro-services design patterns and concepts.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure.
- Demonstrated history of validating data in databases and various file formats.
- Hands-on experience with PySpark/Python and Jupyter Notebook.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodology.
