Who are we ?

Arya.ai is one of the early startups to use deep learning since 2013. We aim to create a fully autonomous AI Operating Platform for Financial Institutions (FIs) to deploy deep learning. Deploying AI is complex, time consuming and needs acceptance from various stakeholders including compliance/regulators. We are simplifying it by offering a comprehensive PasS with plug and play AI modules that are modular and lego like. We aim to convert business functions in FIs intro AI APIs functions such that FIs can adapt AI by simply subscribing to them.

Arya.ai’s team consists of highly experienced researchers and data scientists in deep learning and machine learning. Since 2013, Arya.ai has worked with leading enterprises like banks, insurance companies and financial service players across the globe.

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who -

• Has a strong academic background in concepts of machine learning and deep learning.
• Hands on experience in working with deep learning frameworks like tensorflow, pytorch etc
• Enjoys working on various DL problems that involves using different types of training data sets - textual, tabular, categorical, images etc
• Comfortable deploying code in cloud environments/on premise environments.
• Should be comfortable and flexible in working in an environment where priorities evolve
• Writes clean code has the habit of maintaining a clean documented code
• Understands best practices in ML/DL and is continuously open to learning.
• At least 3+ years of experience in ML/DL

Additional bonus points if:

• You’ve worked in problem statements related to Financial Services
• You've experience in direct interactions with customers
• Experience with startups

Your responsibilities:

• Working with data science team in building/optimizing the current DL systems
• Own the model building and model deployment tasks like data collection, data cleaning, creating data pipelines, generating & analysing model output, model validations and deploying them in production
• Sync/rotate between internal product work and client deployment work
• Work closely with product managers and management team on micro & macro goals
• Be an active part in the product discussions and contribute to the product development roadmap.
