UST is seeking a skilled and proven Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead multiple cloud migration initiatives. This role demands a strategic and hands-on professional who can architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions to support the migration of client applications from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.
You will play a pivotal role in designing and deploying resilient cloud solutions including Kubernetes clusters, databases, storage systems, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless functions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, skill-building, and operational excellence.

UST is seeking a skilled and proven Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead multiple cloud migration initiatives. This role demands a strategic and hands-on professional who can architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions to support the migration of client applications from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.
You will play a pivotal role in designing and deploying resilient cloud solutions including Kubernetes clusters, databases, storage systems, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless functions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, skill-building, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute successful application migrations from on-prem data centers to Microsoft Azure.
- Design cloud architecture with components such as Kubernetes, serverless computing, databases, and storage.
- Define and implement infrastructure reliability controls (monitoring, logging, security policies, etc.).
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for scalable and consistent deployments.
- Advise stakeholders on cloud strategy, architectural decisions, and cost optimization.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
- Monitor critical applications to ensure SLAs and performance standards are met.
- Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and integration issues.
- Support technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Assist in security implementation aligned with best practices and regulatory compliance.

- IaC Tools: Terraform (preferred), Ansible, Puppet, ARM Templates
- CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions (preferred), Jenkins, Argo CD
- Containers: AKS, Helm, Kubernetes, Docker, JFrog
- Serverless: Azure Functions, Logic Apps, AWS Lambda
- Monitoring & Logging: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Fluentd, Grafana
- Security & Networking: Azure Policy, AD/RBAC, NSG rules, ACLs, Private Endpoints
- Big Data: Azure Synapse, Databricks
- Secrets Management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault)
- Service Meshes (e.g., Linkerd, Istio)
- Scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Event Streaming (e.g., Kafka, Redis Streams, Event Hubs)
- Load Balancing/Proxies (e.g., NGINX, HAProxy, Traefik)
- Development Tools: Jira, Confluence, VS Code, MySQL Workbench, Maven
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in SRE roles, ideally with cloud migration and project leadership responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant industry certifications in Cloud Architecture or Development (Azure preferred).
