Role Description

Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Cloud Migration

UST is seeking a skilled and proven Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead multiple cloud migration initiatives. This role demands a strategic and hands-on professional who can architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions to support the migration of client applications from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.

You will play a pivotal role in designing and deploying resilient cloud solutions including Kubernetes clusters, databases, storage systems, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless functions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, skill-building, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute successful application migrations from on-prem data centers to Microsoft Azure.
• Design cloud architecture with components such as Kubernetes, serverless computing, databases, and storage.
• Define and implement infrastructure reliability controls (monitoring, logging, security policies, etc.).
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for scalable and consistent deployments.
• Advise stakeholders on cloud strategy, architectural decisions, and cost optimization.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Monitor critical applications to ensure SLAs and performance standards are met.
• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and integration issues.
• Support technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
• Assist in security implementation aligned with best practices and regulatory compliance.

Professional Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in SRE roles, ideally with cloud migration and project leadership responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Relevant industry certifications in Cloud Architecture or Development (Azure preferred).
